Queer Lens: Queer Identity in Art at the Fruit, 305 S Dillard Street, Durham

A collaboration between the LGBTQ Center of Durham and Pleiades Arts, Queer Lens is a juried visual art exhibit featuring work by 20 LGBTQ+ identified artists of North Carolina. 

Queer Lens will highlight the diverse perspectives, identities, and creations of the LGBTQ+ community, centering the voices of black and brown artists in particular. A grant in support of this exhibit was awarded to Pleiades Arts & the LGBTQ Center of Durham by the Durham Arts Council’s Annual Arts Fund and the N.C. Arts Council, a division of the Department of Natural & Cultural Resources
